Learning from Toyota: Rapid Product Development

Toyota bypassed General Motors in global unit sales for Q1 this year and is expected by analysts to become the world’s largest auto manufacturer. Everyone has heard about Toyota’s Lean Manufacturing, but their Lean Product Development System is even more impressive. Compared to its U.S. competitors, Toyota has been found to be 2-3 times faster to market with new products, using half the engineering staff.

You will learn how to:

  • reduce your time to market by 30-70%
  • identify and remove waste in your development processes
  • reduce costs and risks, free up hidden R&D
  • respond faster to sudden changes in customer needs
  • mobilize your people for continuous learning and innovation
