Speakers

Bill Sudlow, VP of Tax Engineering, Intuit Consumer Tax Group

Mr. Sudlow is responsible for the ProSeries, Lacerte, QuickBooks Do-it-yourself Payroll, TurboTax and SnapTax products, and also delivers tax software engines and services to other Intuit business units. He is in the process of transitioning his group to Lean and Agile practices, while also transforming legacy architectures. Mr. Sudlow holds an MBA from Cornell, an MS in EE from Stanford, and a BS in EE from the University of Illinois.

Tom Tobin, VP of Development, Peregrine Systems

Mr. Tobin manages the engineering team responsible for developing Peregrine's enterprise software solutions. Since joining the company 18 months ago, he has been focused on creating an agile development culture and on introducing new technology for Peregrine's flagship IT management products. During his career, Mr. Tobin has guided the development of seven major products or solutions from inception through acceptance. He earned a BS degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University.

Moderator: Frode L. Ødegård, CEO, Lean Software Institute

Mr. Ødegård has more than twenty years of experience as an entrepreneur and trusted advisor to high-tech executives. Organizations he has helped include Sony Electronics Inc., Lockheed Martin, Candle, Conexant Systems, Mindspeed, and Plantronics. Mr. Ødegård is currently the CEO of the Lean Software Institute, which helps organizations adopt Lean practices to dramatically accelerate the development of software products. He is currently writing a book on Implementing Lean Software Development.
